We’re from Colorado and visit our daughter and her boyfriend in San Diego periodically. Since our first chance visit to Bruno’s it has become a must on our list of places to go for dinner! We really enjoy your pizza and the wine and atmosphere are not bad either. We look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work!
We are italians and, believe us, Bruno’s pizza is 100% italian. No…better…it’s napoletana!
We moved in San Diego two years ago and for us Bruno is scent of home. Unfortunatelly in october we will move to Mexico City. How will we survive without their pizza?!? There should be a Bruno Pizzeria in every place of the world.
We will miss you guys!!!
I lived in Napoli for the better part of 8 years. I’ve had pizza all over the U.S and nothing comes close to it. The only other place that might be in the same league when it comes to Pizza Napoletana is this place in Phoenix called Pizzeria Bianco. LIke I said though, its still not even close to this one. Napoli is the birthplace of pizza and this place shows you why that is. Even in Italy, you wont find a better pizza that you will find in Napoli and Bruno was able to bring it here to us in San Diego. Enjoy peoople this is the way pizza is supposed to be made. Buon Appetito. I’m so impressed by the ingredients and the products that I would give anything to work at this place and serve people the joy that comes from eating their food. Its a piece of art. I speak fluent Italian if you guys are looking for an experienced waiter that knows the in and outs of the Napolitan culture and can impress the clients with his Italian I’m more than willing to drop my job and be around scents of my homeland while bringing joy to every single costumer.
This is the best pizza in San Diego hands down! I have been there countless times and I’m never let down. My friends call it “holy &%$# pizza” because after they take one bite they are astonished at how delicious this pizza is. There are pizza places and then there’s Pizzeria Bruno! True Naples style pizza. Don’t be that person who orders a slice… ain’t gonna happen.
Great pizza with ingredients you don’t find in other southern CA pizza places.
You guys need to partner up with one of the many San Diego food delivery services (Eat24, delivered dish, order up, grubhub, etc) to expand your reach, and give some of us “transportationally-limited” pizza lovers the ability to enjoy your food when we can’t make it into the restaurant ourselves.
A couple of friends of mine I use to work with invited me for dinner here and I was pleasantly surprised. It is very unique and the flavors are definitely not the typical American pizza aka pie. The salad plates very good and are ample for parties of four. The beer selections are representative of American and a surprising variety of international breweries. Oh and the staff is very friendly too.
